Erin Bradshaw has highlighted that her father, Terry Bradshaw, helped her live her dreams of horse riding at a very young age.

Erin, who was welcomed into the world in 1989 during Terry’s third marriage with Charla Hopkins, displayed an interest in equestrianism from a very young age. And in 2025, as a world champion in her field, she has admitted that it wouldn’t have been possible if her dad hadn’t supported her ambitions during her formative years.

She told Cowgirl Magazine: “[My dad] put me on a horse when I was 5, and really let me start living that dream. Without him, I don’t really think I would have even started riding.”

However, her career as an equestrian hasn’t been without its adversities, as displayed by a tragedy which struck earlier this week. Living in Texas with her husband and their daughter, Jessie, Erin took to social media to highlight how a tornado had struck her family ranch.

Terry and Hopkins ultimately split up in 1999 before he married his girlfriend of 13 years, Tammy, in 2014. While he was once a star quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, claiming four Super Bowl titles and two Super Bowl MVP awards, now 76-year-old Terry has worked as a studio analyst for the FOX NFL Sunday show since 1994.
