Fox News star Greg Gutfeld seemingly referenced a bizarre and offensive Michelle Obama conspiracy after it emerged that she will not be attending Donald Trump’s inauguration next week.

Many have speculated about why Michelle will not attend the event, especially as she also missed Jimmy Carter’s funeral last week, with some questioning whether or not she is sick.

However, Gutfeld went another route, and did so by seemingly referencing an extremely controversial conspiracy theory about the former First Lady.

Speaking about Michelle not attending next week’s event, Gutfeld said: “I have a source as you know, Big Mike. He said, she wanted to go but she has plans to work with underprivileged kids at a dude ranch.

Many on social media believe that Gutfeld is referring to Michelle as Big Mike, referencing a ludicrous conspiracy theory that suggests Michelle is in fact a man.

This is also likely why Gutfeld’s joke features the “dude ranch” punchline, with many online fuming about this being said on Fox and other panelists laughing about it.

This is in fact the second time in a matter of days that Gutfeld made a joke of this nature. Take a look at the separate incident below:
